Haihao Group congratulates the completion of Asia’s first cylindrical FPSO

We sincerely congratulate my country’s independently designed and built Asia’s first cylindrical floating production, storage and offloading oil tanker “Haikui No. 1” on its completion and delivery in Qingdao, Shandong on the 26th. This milestone marks a major breakthrough in the independent design and construction of my country’s deepwater oil and gas equipment, and plays a vital role in promoting the efficient development of my country’s deepwater oil and gas fields.

“Hai Kui No. 1” is known as the “Super Energy Bowl”, with a maximum displacement of 100,000 tons and a maximum oil storage capacity of 60,000 tons. It can operate continuously at sea for 15 years without returning to dry dock.

After delivery, “Hai Kui No. 1” will be towed to the deepest depth of 324 meters for deployment. It will serve China’s first deepwater oil field, Liuhua 11-1 Oilfield, together with Asia’s first deepwater pipeline support platform “Haiji No. 2”.

Previously, Haihao Group has supplied a large number of ASTM A182 304L material pipeline system products for this project, including flanges, elbows, tees, etc. This achievement highlights the progress of China’s deepwater oil and gas exploration and production capabilities and Haihao’s The Group is committed to providing quality pipeline solutions to the marine industry.
