What is the difference between seamless steel pipe and welded steel pipe?

Different forming processes: seamless pipes are made of long steel cylinders. The engineer heated the cylinder first. Then they inserted a tool called a mandrel into the center of the cylinder. Then roll and stretch the cylinder until it reaches the required pipe size and wall thickness. However, the welded pipe was originally a flat steel plate, which was molded into a tube. Then weld the two sides together. Although such pipes appear to have obvious joints and need to be polished, many pipes are welded on both sides by high-frequency current welding.
