Today, we bring you the latest updates on FLNG projects, showcasing our commitment to innovation and excellence.

In recent days, the design validation and Pre-FEED phases for two 3MTPA FLNG projects by Ace Gas and FLNG (“Ace”) and Transoceanic Gas and Power (“Transoceanic”) have officially commenced. Wison New Energies Co., Ltd is set to lead the FLNG design validation and EPC for both projects. The contracts have been successfully signed, and mobilization funds for this phase have been allocated.

The agreement aims to provide design validation and engineering research for facilities with an annual capacity of 3 million tons each, located near the Escravos and Pennington offshore areas for Ace and Transoceanic, respectively. The overarching strategy for the FLNG projects adopts a “design once, build two vessels” approach. These FLNG units are designed to produce, store, and unload 3 million tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) annually, along with related liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and condensate.

Commenting on this significant milestone, Mr. Chris Nwokolo, CEO of Ace Gas and FLNG, expressed, “We are delighted to collaborate with Wison New Energies. Grateful for the efforts and support of our team, partners, and government to ensure the realization of this project.”
