On December 18th, the National Energy Investment Group’s 3.1 million-kilowatt wind power project, a part of the first batch of large-scale wind power base projects in the 14th Five-Year Plan period, commenced operation in Inner Mongolia. This project is expected to drive the local energy towards a cleaner and low-carbon transformation.

The newly commissioned 3.1 million-kilowatt wind power project in Inner Mongolia includes the National Energy Investment Group’s 1.2 million-kilowatt Ulanqab on-site utilization project, Tongliao’s 1 million-kilowatt wind power external delivery project, Xilin Gol’s 0.5 million-kilowatt wind power project, and the Alashan 0.4 million-kilowatt wind power project along the Inner Mongolia to Shandong Ultra High Voltage external delivery channel. The construction, spanning two years, involved the establishment of six 220kV boosting stations and 1166 kilometers of collection lines, realizing digitalization, intelligence, and remote centralized control operation.

The completion and operation of the National Energy Investment Group’s Xilin Gol 0.5 million-kilowatt wind power project mark a significant milestone. Following its commissioning, the project is expected to provide 8.934 billion kWh of clean electricity annually, saving 2.8212 million tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 7.5391 million tons. This accomplishment aligns with the goals of advancing Inner Mongolia’s energy transition.

Haihao Group is thrilled to have played a part in this success, and we are committed to continuing our involvement in future wind power projects. As a leading provider of advanced forging solutions, we look forward to contributing to the growth of the renewable energy sector and supporting sustainable development initiatives globally.
