Haihao Group delivers ASTM A234 WPB Pipe Bends to Vietnam

Haihao Group has recently completed the manufacturing and shipment of a batch of ASTM A234 WPB carbon steel pipe bends for a key project in Vietnam. These bends are designed and produced according to ASME B16.49 and meet stringent industrial requirements for pressure piping systems.

The supplied products include 2D, 3D, and 5D pulled bends in multiple schedules, such as SCH40, SCH80, SCH100, SCH120, and STD. Pipe sizes range from 200NB to 750NB, covering a broad spectrum of diameters and wall thicknesses to accommodate various flow and pressure conditions.

Material Excellence and Precision Manufacturing

All bends are made from ASTM A234 WPB, a high-quality carbon steel material with a carbon content below 0.23%, ensuring excellent weldability, toughness, and resistance to high-temperature deformation.
The production process involves hot forming and controlled heat treatment, guaranteeing a uniform microstructure and enhanced mechanical properties.

Each bend was carefully formed with accurate outer diameter (OD), wall thickness (WT), and bend radius (R) to ensure smooth flow transition and minimum turbulence in service. The final products are suitable for oil & gas pipelines, power stations, petrochemical facilities, and offshore structures.

Before delivery, Haihao Group performed a complete inspection procedure, including:

• Mechanical property testing (tensile, hardness, and impact tests)

All reports, including MTC EN10204 3.1, were provided to ensure full traceability and compliance with ASME B16.49 and ASTM A234 standards.
