Hex nipples, also known as hexagon nipples or threaded nipples, are a type of pipe fitting commonly used in various plumbing and piping systems to connect two pipes or fittings of different diameters or configurations.Hex nipples are short pipe segments with threaded ends that allow for easy connection and disconnection. The “hex” refers to the hexagonal shape on one end of the nipple, which provides a surface for applying torque using a wrench or other tool during installation or removal.

Material: Hex nipples can be manufactured from a variety of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, brass, and galvanized steel, to suit different applications and environmental conditions according to the ASTM,ASME,CE standards.
Sizes: Hex nipples are available in a range of sizes, from very small diameters for use in precision instruments to larger diameters for industrial applications. 1/8″- 4″ in S40/STD, S80/XH, S160 & XXH.Also available in reducing pipe sizes, special pipe schedules and custom lengths.
Threads: American National Standard Taper Pipe Threads NPT (ANSI/ASME B1.20.1) .Also available in other thread forms: NPTF, NPSC, NPSM, NGT, BSPT, BSPP and in any combination. Left hand threads available upon request.
