Haihao Group expands horizons through strategic collaboration at the belt and road forum
Beijing, October 17 – The third Belt and Road International Cooperation Summit Forum saw a momentous occasion as entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan and China gathered for a signing ceremony. In the presence of President Tokayev of Kazakhstan, a series of collaborative agreements were inked between China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and their Kazakh counterparts.

During the ceremony, Chairman Dai Houliang of CNPC and Kazakhstan’s Minister of Energy, Nurlan Nogayev, formalized the collaboration by signing key agreements. One of the significant pacts involved the extension of the Akjoubein Project’s petroleum contract and the deepening of oil and gas cooperation within the borders of Kazakhstan. This initiative, witnessed by President Tokayev, is poised to inject fresh impetus into Sino-Kazakh energy collaboration and contribute to the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative, fostering mutual industrial prosperity and shared developmental achievements.
Chairman Dai Houliang, Minister Nurlan Nogayev, and Chairman Zaqipov of the Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund jointly signed a memorandum of understanding on the development of renewable energy. This strategic move is designed to intensify collaboration across the entire oil and gas industry chain and delve into new energy realms. The memorandum aims to broaden pragmatic cooperation in areas such as green and low-carbon initiatives. As Haihao Group stands as a strategic reserve supplier for CNPC, this collaboration opens avenues for the group to explore new project opportunities in the future.
