180 Degree Elbow
A pipe elbow is one kind of pipe fittings which can change the liquid or gas flowing direction in a piping system. It is mainly used to connect two pipes,sometimes called a “quarter bend”.
180 degree elbow is like 45 or 90 degree elbow, but the flow direction change is 180 degree .It looks like the flow fluid get back to the same direction from the joint. The shape is like two 90 degree elbows welded together. It is also called “U bend” or “return bend”.
With the pipe connection mode: direct welding (way) of the most commonly used flange connection, hot melt connection, fused connection, threaded connection and socket type connection, etc.
According to the production process can be divided into: welding bend, stamping elbow, pushing system bend, casting bend, butt welding elbow and so on.
The 180 degree elbow could be the long radius or short radius , both are used a lot in the industry application .
